Finding Solution

Well I think that if there is something that is wrong with your game then you should try to do something about it yourself, before you go and try to get a teachers help. If you do not try to do something about it yourself, then you will never ever be able to do anything without smeone elses help. So, the example that I am going to use is, when your action script gliches. You have to try to fix it. If that does not work then you have to retype the whole thing over again. Then, if that does not work then you have to work on it over and over again. The way I do it, is then I just try to fix the thing. If I can not fix it after I have tried everything that I know to do, then I go to my teacher, Mrs.Barker. I think that if she can not fix it then we have to do the whole thing over. So, if you do not think that you can dothe thing by yourself, then you can do what you can and if you cannot do anything else. Then this is the good part. This is the part that most of you will like. Now, you can go to your teacher. So,just try to fix the thing by yourself, before you run to your teacher.

The Presidential Cabinet

In the Presidential Cabinet, there are a lot of people that are very important to the whole Cabinet. There are very different jobs that all of the people have to do. The President's Cabinet consists of the provost and chief academic officer as well as the vice presidents. There are at least three or four people and their jobs that I have to blog about. Secretary of State is one of the people/jobs. There is the Secretary of State, The Secretary of Treasury, and the Secretary of Defense, and the Attorney General. These people’s jobs are very important to us. They put their whole day in for us. The Secretary of State is appointed by the President. Along with the advice and of the Senate. The Secretary carries out the President's foreign policies. The Secretary of Treasury is another on that I have to blog about, also. The United States of America Secretary of the Treasury is the head of the United States Department of the Treasury.The Secretary is a member of the President's Cabinet and, since the Clinton years, has sat on the United States National Security Council. The Secretary of the Treasury is fifth in the United States presidential line of succession.

Intro To The People In Our Group And Our Game

Hello my name is Cassie McPeak and my team name is Tigers. The other person that is in my group is Heather Vance. Here is our user names for the wiki, Mcpeakcassie and Heather212003. There is a lot of work that we have done for our game. All of that work is on our Projects Page. There is a lot of work on our Game Demo section on our Projects Page. We are hoping that our game will be a finished product by our deadline.

What is plagiarism?

Q.) What is copyright law is and what the importance of Fair Use section is for you as a student.

A.) Well the copyright law is that when someone writes something down on paper or anything, it is protected by the copyright law. If you try to copyright anything that someone else has wrote and do not have anything that gives the author credit for his or her work. Q.) The works that are and are not protected by copyright.

A.) The works that are protected by the copyright law are the work that is the work of the the famous authors that have worte it. The work that is not protected by the copyright law, could be public domain.

A.) The work(s) that is/are protected by the copyright law are the work that is protected from anyone getting the work and putting thier own words in it, and then putting thier name on it and saying that it is thier work.

Q.) What public domain is and how it can affect your work.

A.) Public Domain is when the public can use your work without your peomission.. And how is, it can affect your work by the public can put thier own words to the work. That could change the whole thing that you have written.

Q.) How much text, video, or music you can use in your work (in your games as well!).

A.) Really as much as you want, but if you use it off of a website, you would need to put somewhere on the page that the text, video, or music is on, credit for the person who put all of that on the internet. If it where me, even if it was public domain, I would still give them credit for thier work.

My New Years Resolution

Well I really did not think of a new years resolution for this class. So, can you help me make one? So, lets make my new years resolution shall we? So, I think that it will be to finish the game before the finshing up date. So, I think that the game will be the greatest game I every made. So, far I have got a lot of stress out of the button to make my loading scene go to my title scene. I found the problem, it was the other three butttons on my title scene. I had made the title scene in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional 3.0 and I had to copy the scenes in the 3.0 and paste them in the 2.0. Then, when I tried to get my other button working in the 2.0 it would not work. Then I had to redo all three button on the title scene because the three buttons did not understand the 2.0 code and the other three buttons on the title scene would not let the other button work! But now I have the two scenes go from one to the other. So, here is the Flash file. Click on the green next button in the bottom right hand corner. So, hope that I can get to my goal and I hope that I can finish our game. I hope we can get everything done with the game finished. I also hope that we can win something at the contest and even if we don't I will still be happy because I would know that I did do something that will make me and hopefully Heather happy.

In Loving Memory Of Jordan M.

Well this has been a really, really bad two days for me. Why you ask because my sisiter's ex-boyfriend's brother died on Tuesday night in his sleep and then yesterday my friend Jordan died at the basketball game with Mt. View!! When I heard that on the radio, I just was shocked because I thought that it was a different Jordan! But when I heard his last name come from my best friend's lips I though I was going to die!! I feel like I lost my brother even though I barely even knew him, but he did everything with his brother and his brother is really, really strong. He came to school today with a shirt that one of our friends' mom made him. It has something to do with, in loving memory of Jordan, or something like that. I think that i would have came to school to, but only with the comfort of something that was my brother's or sister's like their clothes or something. Like I told my best friend this morning on the bus, " I think that it is so weird because you can be having a really good time with someone, so lets say Jordan. So you are talking and laughing with him and you turn around for a split second and boom he is laying in the gym floor and he is dieing and there is nothing that anyone could do! So what do you do? Me personally, I would start freaking out and I would have a panic attack. I wish that I could tell his brother the right words to make him feel better, but I know that the word that I said would probably not change the way that he feel about his brothers death. a least he is okay! know that that isn't the thing that is so terrible here. But, anyway there is at least one that is okay, even though we all want both of them to be here, but we always don't get our way. God's got a life planned out for all of us! So, don't take atvantige of all the time that you spend with the people that you love and or care for. Please, don't I learnt that the hard way. And I can tell that you all have got to have been taking atvantige of what you do in the time that you spend with those pepole you love and or care about. He did everything with his brother. They played sports together and everything. They played all of the sports for the school together, and they had fun. All the sports are basetbll, of course, baseball, and football. And I think that the two together makes a GREAT TEAM!!!

My Reseach for Our Game

Mrs.Barker told us to blog about the research that we found about our game. So here is all the things that I found, so far, about our game. So here it is,
Three Branches of Government
In 1787, leaders of the states gathered to write the Constitution-a set of principles that told how the new nation would be governed. The leaders of the states wanted a strong and fair national government. But they also wanted to protect individual freedoms and prevent the government from abusing its power. They believed they could do this by having three separate branches of government: the executive, the legislative and the judicial. This separation is described in the first three articles, or sections, of the Constitution.
Legislative Branch
The legislative branch is made up of the two houses of Congress—the Senate and the House of Representatives. The most important duty of the legislative branch is to make laws. Laws are written, discussed and voted on in Congress.
There are 100 senators in the Senate, two from each state. Senators are elected by their states and serve six-year terms. The Vice President of the U.S. is considered the head of the Senate, but does not vote in the Senate unless there is a tie. The Senate approves nominations made by the President to the Cabinet, the Supreme Court, federal courts and other posts. The Senate must ratify all treaties by a two-thirds vote.
There are 435 representatives in the House of Representatives. The number of representatives each state gets is based on its population. For example, California has many more representatives than Rhode Island. When Census figures determine that the population of a state has changed significantly, the number of representatives in that state may shift proportionately. Representatives are elected by their states and serve two-year terms. The Speaker of the House, elected by the representatives, is considered the head of the House. Both parties in the Senate and the House of Representatives elect leaders. The leader of the party that controls the house is called the majority leader. The other party leader is called the minority leader.
Executive Branch
The President is the head of the executive branch, which makes laws official. The President is elected by the entire country and serves a four-year term. The President approves and carries out laws passed by the legislative branch. He appoints or removes cabinet members and officials. He negotiates treaties, and acts as head of state and commander in chief of the armed forces.
So yeah I know that, that looks like a lot but if you really set down and think about it. If you really think about it, would you wreather have to read all of this or have the job of have to go though all of that to do the job. So, you say that you want to know how we are going to apply all of these words and things like that to our game? Well heres how we are going to put our heads together and find a way to put all of these facts together. I think that we will probably do something like this.....like have some fun facts and then have them look at a few things for a case then they will be in tje judges place to look at the proof and see which side they they think sould win the case. Or if Heather has a better idea we will compare the two and see which one wins and we will usa that method on the game.
