Imagining Your Game

Well, so far with Imagining our Game has been very simple we just wrote the Ideas that just popped into our heads in the flash document and then we had to upload it, and then we had to paste or put it on our projects page. So, I think that this year will be going very good. I think that the gmae this year will be very interesting for all of us to se and to make! I am hopeing that the year is gooding to be good! What is hard and what is NOT?!

What is hard and What is not? Well, that is kind of a hard question! Things that one person thinks is hard, the next person may think that it is not as hard as you think that you think that it is! I think that the ahrdest part of teaching about Civics and the The First Admendment, is trying to combined Basketball and The First Admendment.

Our Game-Making Audience

Well, it really hard to tell if sources are reliable are not.So have you heard about the Upper Branch Mine the had that really bad explosion? Well, that was really bad because there were 25 to 29 menthat were killed in that mine. There were a lot of violations on that mine when the explosion happen. Here are some of the violations, well most of the violations were on the the safety.
Federal records showed the Massey Energy subsidiary received 548 citations in 2009 and 122 so far in 2010. So, you really never know when the people of the world are telling the trust about something or not.

Other Game

This week I am going to tell you about a game that I played just a few minutes ago. The game was made by the Muffin Tanks. They seem to know what they are doing with the Flash program. They probably know more about it than I do.So, if you are going to try to do something in Flash, go to them. The people that have made the game are the Lexy, Quintin, and last by not least Tyler Curfman. So, here is their Paper Prototype. So, if you ahve any questions about their game you should not ask me, you should ask them.Soo, here are some of the things that I like about the game. So, here they are I like the way that the three people work together and how they put all of the scenes together to make the game worth what they think that it should be worth. There are all kinds of things that I likre about the game, but there is only a certain amount of time that I can use to blog. So, I am very happy for these three people who have made this game.

Game Demo Presentations

The game that I am going to blog about is the "Whitehouse Runners", this game was made by the team Smarties. In the team Smarties are the two people that are in this class with me. Their names are Amber Hurley and Angel Kennedy. I am going to tell you about their Finished Game, well what they have so far. So, just in case that you do not know what their game is going to be about, you can go to viddler.com, and search Smarties Paper Prototype, From there it is easy. Just click on the picture of the video. Then you will see/watch the video. So, here is what they have so far. It is very cool. So, I can not wait to play the finished product. So, if you would like to look at the Paper Prototype then just look down there, and watch the video. So, I hope that the finished producct that it comes out to bo is just what they want it to be.

Wiki artifact from our Team Page And The Story Behind Them

The artifact that I am going to tell you about it the Paper Prototype. We think that the Paper Prototype is the most important part of the game. We think that the Paper Prototype has helped us a lot. So, there is a lot that we still have to do, but I think that we can get it done before the deadline. Well if you look at our Team Page you will see that we have done a lot of work. Then if you go to the Game Demo Page then you will see our Game Demo. Our Game Demo that we have created, yes it was difficult, but we have got this far, why not finish. So here is the story behind the whole thing. The story is that we had to go to the Spanish Room and we had to record there. Yes, we had to do the thing like three times, but hey it was worth it. So, there you have the story for our Paper Prototype.

Finding Solution

Well I think that if there is something that is wrong with your game then you should try to do something about it yourself, before you go and try to get a teachers help. If you do not try to do something about it yourself, then you will never ever be able to do anything without smeone elses help. So, the example that I am going to use is, when your action script gliches. You have to try to fix it. If that does not work then you have to retype the whole thing over again. Then, if that does not work then you have to work on it over and over again. The way I do it, is then I just try to fix the thing. If I can not fix it after I have tried everything that I know to do, then I go to my teacher, Mrs.Barker. I think that if she can not fix it then we have to do the whole thing over. So, if you do not think that you can dothe thing by yourself, then you can do what you can and if you cannot do anything else. Then this is the good part. This is the part that most of you will like. Now, you can go to your teacher. So,just try to fix the thing by yourself, before you run to your teacher.

The Presidential Cabinet

In the Presidential Cabinet, there are a lot of people that are very important to the whole Cabinet. There are very different jobs that all of the people have to do. The President's Cabinet consists of the provost and chief academic officer as well as the vice presidents. There are at least three or four people and their jobs that I have to blog about. Secretary of State is one of the people/jobs. There is the Secretary of State, The Secretary of Treasury, and the Secretary of Defense, and the Attorney General. These people’s jobs are very important to us. They put their whole day in for us. The Secretary of State is appointed by the President. Along with the advice and of the Senate. The Secretary carries out the President's foreign policies. The Secretary of Treasury is another on that I have to blog about, also. The United States of America Secretary of the Treasury is the head of the United States Department of the Treasury.The Secretary is a member of the President's Cabinet and, since the Clinton years, has sat on the United States National Security Council. The Secretary of the Treasury is fifth in the United States presidential line of succession.

Intro To The People In Our Group And Our Game

Hello my name is Cassie McPeak and my team name is Tigers. The other person that is in my group is Heather Vance. Here is our user names for the wiki, Mcpeakcassie and Heather212003. There is a lot of work that we have done for our game. All of that work is on our Projects Page. There is a lot of work on our Game Demo section on our Projects Page. We are hoping that our game will be a finished product by our deadline.

What is plagiarism?

Q.) What is copyright law is and what the importance of Fair Use section is for you as a student.

A.) Well the copyright law is that when someone writes something down on paper or anything, it is protected by the copyright law. If you try to copyright anything that someone else has wrote and do not have anything that gives the author credit for his or her work. A.) The works that are protected by the copyright law are the work that is the work of the the famous authors that have worte it. A.) Public Domain is when the public can use your work without your peomission.. And how is, it can affect your work by the public can put thier own words to the work. That could change the whole thing that you have written.

Q.) How much text, video, or music you can use in your work (in your games as well!).

A.) Really as much as you want, but if you use it off of a website, you would need to put somewhere on the page that the text, video, or music is on, credit for the person who put all of that on the internet. If it where me, even if it was public domain, I would still give them credit for thier work.

My New Years Resolution

Well I really did not think of a new years resolution for this class. So, can you help me make one? So, lets make my new years resolution shall we? So, I think that it will be to finish the game before the finshing up date. So, I think that the game will be the greatest game I every made. So, far I have got a lot of stress out of the button to make my loading scene go to my title scene. I found the problem, it was the other three butttons on my title scene. I had made the title scene in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional 3.0 and I had to copy the scenes in the 3.0 and paste them in the 2.0. Then, when I tried to get my other button working in the 2.0 it would not work. Then I had to redo all three button on the title scene because the three buttons did not understand the 2.0 code and the other three buttons on the title scene would not let the other button work! But now I have the two scenes go from one to the other. So, here is the Flash file. Click on the green next button in the bottom right hand corner. So, hope that I can get to my goal and I hope that I can finish our game. I hope we can get everything done with the game finished. I also hope that we can win something at the contest and even if we don't I will still be happy because I would know that I did do something that will make me and hopefully Heather happy.

In Loving Memory Of Jordan M.

Well this has been a really, really bad two days for me. Why you ask because my sisiter's ex-boyfriend's brother died on Tuesday night in his sleep and then yesterday my friend Jordan died at the basketball game with Mt. View!! When I heard that on the radio, I just was shocked because I thought that it was a different Jordan! But when I heard his last name come from my best friend's lips I though I was going to die!! I feel like I lost my brother even though I barely even knew him, but he did everything with his brother and his brother is really, really strong. He came to school today with a shirt that one of our friends' mom made him. It has something to do with, in loving memory of Jordan, or something like that. I think that i would have came to school to, but only with the comfort of something that was my brother's or sister's like their clothes or something. Like I told my best friend this morning on the bus, " I think that it is so weird because you can be having a really good time with someone, so lets say Jordan. So you are talking and laughing with him and you turn around for a split second and boom he is laying in the gym floor and he is dieing and there is nothing that anyone could do! So what do you do? Me personally, I would start freaking out and I would have a panic attack. I wish that I could tell his brother the right words to make him feel better, but I know that the word that I said would probably not change the way that he feel about his brothers death. a least he is okay! know that that isn't the thing that is so terrible here. But, anyway there is at least one that is okay, even though we all want both of them to be here, but we always don't get our way. God's got a life planned out for all of us! So, don't take atvantige of all the time that you spend with the people that you love and or care for. Please, don't I learnt that the hard way. And I can tell that you all have got to have been taking atvantige of what you do in the time that you spend with those pepole you love and or care about. He did everything with his brother. They played sports together and everything. They played all of the sports for the school together, and they had fun. All the sports are basetbll, of course, baseball, and football. And I think that the two together makes a GREAT TEAM!!!
